In Ecuador, the commercial activity of many micro-entrepreneurs is in the process of being formalized; while this takes place, the company's sales are strengthened through the channel of wholesalers and stores. We have gained control and loyalty in a channel that has traditionally been quite informal and we have given the final consumer direct access to the product. This has opened the possibility to get to know the client better and thus be more assertive in the improvement and development of new products, as well as to strengthen the position of all its brands.
The chain of stores is handled under the franchise model, and by the end november 2010 there are 127 franchised stores in 68 towns, covering 19 provinces of Ecuador, with more than 54 different micro franchised partners.
